Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger is having an unbelievable, historic season. At the ripe age of 24 years old, he's been tearing it up in every facet of the game this year, and he's checking off milestones along the way.

Now, he's reached a Wins Above Replacement milestone that only one other player in the history of the Dodgers has achieved in his age-23 season –– and he's done it in less than 100 games.

If Bellinger keeps up this pace, he will finish the season with a WAR of 12.3. That wouldn't just shatter the Dodgers franchise record, but it would be the fifth-highest WAR season ever recorded in the history of the sport, behind seasons by MLB legends Babe Ruth and Carl Yastrzemski.

Bellinger's batting .341 and he leads the MLB with 33 home runs and 75 RBI as he threatens to run away with the MVP in a year when there are numerous deserving candidates.

What Bellinger is doing is so incredible, we don't even think he can believe it. In just his third season, he's suddenly pushing Mike Trout for the crown of MLB's best player –– something no one has done for a number of years now.

If he keeps this up, the Dodgers may finally get their World Series title in 2019.
