It's almost June, and Jadeveon Clowney still remains unsigned two months after the first wave of free agency. One of the few teams that he is still engaging with is the Cleveland Browns, who have money to spend and would like an upgrade over Olivier Vernon on the edge.

According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, the Browns have offered Clowney more money than anyone else, and he would be a Brown already if he wanted to. However, Clowney is clearly ambivalent at best about playing in Cleveland.

Come on, Jadeveon! The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is nice! The Museum of Natural History is also pretty cool.

Clowney, who recorded three sacks last season despite one of the highest pressure rates in the league, could pair with Myles Garrett and form as good a pass rushing tandem as there is in the NFL in The Land. Clowney is holding out for a contract with multiple years on it and/or is showing the Browns that he isn't coming to Cleveland unless they drop a truly monstrous amount of money on him.

Clowney's ongoing unemployment remains a mystery, especially since the Browns were willing to pay the former No. 1 overall pick more than anyone. Apparently, their generous offer still isn't enough for his taste.
