3 Bold Predictions for Clemson vs South Carolina Palmetto Bowl Rivalry
By Michael Luciano

South Carolina's biggest rivalry will be renewed once again as Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne and No. 3 Clemson take on their Palmetto Bowl foes in Will Muschamp's Gamecocks, who stand at 4-7 but do have a win against Georgia in Athens on their resume. Do the Gamecocks have one more magical game in them? Or will the Tigers roll into the ACC Championship with a perfect record?
3. Tavien Feaster Tops 100 Yards Against His Old Team
Stuck behind the likes of Etienne in Clemson, Feaster controversially transferred to South Carolina, where he has formed a deadly 1-2 punch with Rico Dowdle. Feaster ran for 175 yards in a loss against Florida, and with a true freshman quarterback in Ryan Hilinski going against that lethal unit, expect the Gamecocks to feed Feaster early and often.
2. Trevor Lawrence Accounts for at Least Four Touchdowns
His early-season struggled look like a thing of the past, and Lawrence is once again shredding ACC competition. With a better completion percentage, yards-per-attempt, and passer rating than his mercurial freshman season, Lawrence has been the main driving force behind Clemson barely breaking a sweat in ACC conference play, save for the North Carolina game. The Gamecocks let Kyle Trask hang 38 on them and allowed Jarrett Guarantano to put up 41, so Lawrence should light up the scoreboard.
1. Clemson Wins by Three Touchdowns
Here are the scores of Clemson's last five games against FBS competition: 45-14 vs Florida State, 45-10 vs Louisville, 59-7 vs Boston College, 55-10 vs North Carolina State, 55-3 vs Wake Forest. Dabo Swinney and the Tigers are playing some ungodly dominant football at the moment, and South Carolina's 4-7 record isn't going to frighten a team with 30 NFL players on it one bit. This may be a rivalry game, but Clemson shouldn't have much trouble with this one.
