Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence and Girlfriend Marissa Mowry Clearly Had a Solid Offseason

The NCAA football kicks off its first full week of games Thursday night, and all eyes will be on the defending CFP National Champion Clemson Tigers and quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Tigers and the sophomore star are facing off against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

So, how did Lawrence prepare for an all-important season for his team and himself? Why, go on vacation with his girlfriend, Marissa Mowry.

As you can see in this series of Instagram photos, both Lawrence and Mowry spent some time on the beach and on a boat, while indulging in the stereotypical couple's poses that are perhaps required by law.

Everyone knows that golden rule: you can't go to the beach without going to a beachfront grill. (These are simply the rules; we don't make them.)

With rest and relaxation out of the way and the fall semester kicking off, Lawrence now focuses on the hype surrounding him. After entering in relief of Kelly Bryant in 2018, Lawrence didn't log enough time to enter the Heisman Trophy race, but still found paydirt at the end of the season and hoisted the ultimate trophy.

Now, with a full season ahead of him, Lawrence has the opportunity to showcase his talents not only for Clemson, but to NFL teams as a potential first overall pick in 2021.
