The Clemson Tigers have established themselves as titans of college football, and they're not going anywhere any time soon. Much of their success can be credited to the recruiting prowess of head coach Dabo Swinney.

Now, one of their 2020 commits, Myles Murphy, has received a fantastic ranking from 247Sports. In their newest rankings, Murphy earned a 5-star designation as well as being moved up to the fifth-best player in his class.

Murphy is a big, strong, fast defensive end from Powder Springs, Georgia. He's a freak athlete at 6-5, 260 pounds, as he runs a 4.65 40-yard dash and has an unbelievable 34-inch vertical.

As a high school junior last season, Murphy logged 10 sacks and 18 tackles for loss. 247Sports described him as "one of the handful of prospects in this class that actually has No. 1 overall upside," high praise for a player who is still a year away from being a college freshman.

Clemson has dominated recruiting in the 2020 class, as evidenced by the fact that they've already garnered commitments from three of the top eight players.

Dabo Swinney is going to earn every penny of his 10-year, $93 million contract.
