It's hard to believe that the 2021 Major League Baseball season is already around the corner. Last year, we saw the Los Angeles Dodgers take down the field and bring home yet another World Series title.

Now, the team will look to defend its crown and repeat as champs. When Opening Day does arrive, as you might have been able to guess, the team will be sending out Clayton Kershaw to get the campaign started.

This really should come as no surprise, as Kershaw is without question one of the best hurlers in the game. He's also the ace for this Los Angeles club. When Game 1 of the 2021 season rolls around, there's no one else fans would like to see out on the hill.

Yes, expectations will be high for the Dodgers and manager Dave Roberts will be ready for his guys to start the season off with a bang. And with that, Kershaw will have the chance to send quite the statement to the rest of the bigs.
