CJ Stroud named a team captain for the Houston Texans

What will quarterback CJ Stroud be able to get done with his new team in Year 1? This is something fans can't wait to find out, as there are high expectations for the first-round pick. The former Ohio State standout is hoping to live up to the hype in '23.

Early on, it looks like Stroud is winning over the trust of his teammates. On Monday, it was announced that Stroud will be one of the team captains for Houston this season. That's certainly a high honor for the first-year QB.

Stroud is being looked at as a savior for Houston, as the team has been through some lean years of late. However, there are plenty of young, exciting pieces for this team and fans are excited for what's to come.
