Chiefs survive against the Jets with Taylor Swift at MetLife Stadium
KC is now 3-1 on the year after Sunday's win
It turned out to be a wild showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets on Sunday night. KC was expected to dominate this one, with Patrick Mahomes leading his offense against Zach Wilson and Co.
Instead, Wilson had one of the best games of his career. In the end, though, the Chiefs were able to escape with a 23-20 victory. Mahomes made the plays late when needed, but the same can't be said for Wilson. His costly fumble in the fourth quarter helped the Chiefs post the win.
Off the field, Taylor Swift made plenty of headlines, as she was in a suite for her second consecutive Chiefs game. She is reportedly dating Travis Kelce, making them a true power couple in the NFL. Swift appears to be bringing KC luck too, as they're 2-0 with her on hand for games.
The Chiefs were far from perfect at MetLife Stadium, but fans were able to breathe a sigh of relief. Next up will be a Week 5 matchup with the Vikings.
