Chiefs Star Travis Kelce Has Amazing Response to Inspirational Young KC Fan

Travis Kelce is one of the best tight ends in the NFL.

But on Saturday, he showed exactly why he is such a fan favorite among Kansas City Chief fans.

Kelce took to Twitter to respond to a video of a young Chiefs fan named Roman walking with crutches, while Chiefs cheerleaders urged him on. And it hit him right where it needed to on this Saturday morning.

Roman is battling spina bifida, a birth defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don't form properly.

Kelce, 29, has been named to the Pro Bowl in the last four seasons, including being selected First-Team All-Pro in 2016 and 2018. Kelce scored a career high 10 touchdowns last year.

2018 MVP and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II seemingly has a great relationship with Kelce, too, helping Kansas City have one of the best offenses last year.

With Mahomes, Kelce and wide receiver Tyreek Hill not being suspended to begin the season, Kansas City is expected to carry its high octane offense into 2019 with Super Bowl hopes. Keep those hopes up, Roman!
