Free agent wide receiver Demarcus Robinson figured to have a handful of suitors on the open market, and it seemed the Kansas City Chiefs were showing next to no interest in bringing him back.

However, Robinson mustered hardly any buzz, and that has seen the Chiefs make a move.

On Saturday, NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported that Kansas City re-signed the 25-year-old to a one-year contract.

Out of nowhere!

The rich continue to get richer in KC as quarterback Patrick Mahomes will get to work with the same arsenal of talent that he did in 2019, when he famously led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl win over the 49ers.

Mahomes took to Twitter to articulate his excitement, and that's sure to fire up the Arrowhead faithful.

Robinson has spent his entire NFL career (four seasons) with Kansas City, and that marriage will continue for at least one more year. 2019 was Robinson's most productive campaign to date as he hauled in 32 receptions for 449 yards and four touchdowns.

The Chiefs just continue to win the offseason.
