Chiefs Reportedly Sign TE Nick Keizer
By Adam Godfrey

The Kansas City Chiefs' offense was arguably the best in football last season, led by second-year quarterback and league MVP Patrick Mahomes.
The team is still looking for ways to improve on that side of the ball however, and they added another tight end to the offense by signing Nick Keizer on Friday.

Keizer will battle to rise up the tight end depth chart, though he certainly won't dethrone Travis Kelce as the team's de facto No. 1 tight end. Keizer will try to work his way up to the second string in his position. He previously played for the Baltimore Ravens, but did not see any playing time last season.
Keizer played his college football at Grand Valley State where he played three seasons after red-shirting his freshman year. He registered 734 career receiving yards in his time as a Laker, along with 11 career touchdowns.

Keizer will hope to stick around at camp as long as possible as he vies for a spot on the 53-man roster, though it certainly won't be easy for the 24 year old.
