By Daniel Marcillo

After the Kansas City Chiefs lost wide receiver and special teamer Marcus Kemp for the season to a torn ACL, the team had to make a move.
As a result, Kansas City re-signed former Chief and speedster De'Anthony Thomas.

Thomas had been a special teams specialist over his career. He was only limited to five games in 2018 due a leg fracture, however, so he'll be working his way back from that.
De’Anthony Thomas just signed with the Chiefs and arrived in the middle of practice. Seriously

Let's not forget about his arrest this offseason on suspicion of marijuana possession, which he could still be disciplined for. Whatever the case, he'll provide KC with a body that knows the team's system for the duration of the preseason.
In five seasons with the Chiefs, Thomas has recorded 64 receptions for 503 yards and 4 touchdowns in addition to 29 rushes for 186 yards and 2 scores. He also saw a lot of time as a returner, logging 72 punt and 51 kick returns over that span.
