Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been banged up pretty much all season long. He injured his knee in Week 1 against the Jaguars, then further aggravated that knee injury against the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football to the point where he was forced to sit out a few games.

Mahomes' latest ailment is a sprained hand that has had a noticeable effect on his accuracy of late. According to FOX's Jay Glazer, Mahomes' injury is worse than people thought, as he couldn't even throw the ball in practice until Thursday.

Mahomes has thrown for 3,266 yards, 21 touchdowns, and three interceptions this season, and Kansas City is 8-3 in games that he has started.

While Mahomes is clearly hurting, he still was able to get some throws in during pregame warm-ups in snowy Kansas City ahead of their rematch against the Broncos.

Due to his injury and the fact that these aren't exactly ideal conditions to throw the football all over the field in, Mahomes may not be in for his most gaudy statistical performance this afternoon.
