Despite suffering injuries to some of their key players, the Kansas City Chiefs are the top team in the AFC West and positioned for another trip to the playoffs.

Superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been banged up and missed a considerable amount of time in 2019, playing in just five games so far and leaving the last one early due to a hamstring issue.

Fortunately for Chiefs' fans, however, head coach Andy Reid has some encouraging news on the electrifying wideout's status heading into Week 13 of the NFL regular season.

Reid is optimistic about Hill's chances of playing in their upcoming matchup against the Oakland Raiders. The Cheetah has likely benefited from having some time off thanks to Kansas City's conveniently scheduled bye week.

The hamstring injury Hill suffered vs. the Los Angeles Chargers a few weeks back was initially thought to be minor, but fans will be happy to have some confirmation on the situation.

Hamstring issues can sometimes linger throughout the season, especially for players like Hill who rely so much on their speed and explosiveness, but the two-time NFL All-Pro seems to have avoided that fate based on Reid's comments.

The Chiefs will have an opportunity to pad their lead in the division vs. Oakland on Sunday, and having their best receiver available for the game will certainly help in a big way.
