Chelsea asking price for Mason Mount is way too high

With Manchester United in need of a new midfielder, all eyes are on Mason Mount. The Chelsea MF has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, as Erik Ten Hag is high on Mount's game. Mount is also keen on a move.

However, Chelsea aren't going to get rid of the star player for peanuts. Per multiple reports, Chelsea's asking price for Mount is through the roof at more than $85 million, which is delaying talks between the clubs.

Mount is a fantastic player, but with only one year left on his contract, this is simply too much for the Blues to be asking for. They need to lower the number.
