Like all football fans, Keenan Allen is ready to watch some playoff football. And again, like all football fans, he's ready to take pot shots at the officials on social media.

The standout Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver took a hilarious dig at NFL officials on Twitter.

Good thing the Chargers aren't playing in the postseason this year, otherwise he and his team might have been on the receiving end of some retribution.

Of course, the fact that he's saying this at all speaks to how absurd the officiating has gotten in recent years. Players of Allen's caliber are beholden to the will of the replay center officials who are completely and totally removed from the most pivotal games of the year.

Though they do help some correct some egregious errors on the field, they also make more than their fair share of poor calls.

At the very least, though, it's good to see that the players themselves can laugh about it, and hopefully the fans at home can join in on the laughter when the referees make absolute fools of themselves on national television.
