Chad Johnson Offering His Own 'Stimulus Program' Via Cash App

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson is ready to lend a helping hand while an untold number of individuals remain out of work due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Tuesday, the former longtime Cincinnati Bengals star tweeted that he will be giving out "stimulus checks" on July 1 via the Cash App. Johnson even called out President Donald Trump by name, claiming that he continues to "play games" instead of taking action when it comes to relief for those most deeply affected financially by the ongoin crisis.

The man formerly known as Ochocinco's post very obviously shows off his $245,000 account balance. It may come off as an odd flex, but the former six-time Pro Bowler intends to dole out cash at the start of next month to folks who need it. That's not nothing.

Johnson continued to call out Trump and the fenderal government on social media in his next tweet, which contested that the initial stimulus check -- which featured a $1,200 sum -- that millions of Americans received back in April wasn't nearly enough to sustain through a pandemic that is still ongoing. It's difficult to argue with Johnson's logic, especially when you take into consideration that there's still a large group of Americans that have yet to receive their stimulus payments.
