The Celtics are third in the Eastern Conference with a record of 36-15, thanks to the recent spectacular play of first-time All Star Jayson Tatum. Tatum has been putting up career highs in points (22.1), rebounds (6.8), assists (3.0), steals (1.4) and blocks (.9) per game. Furthermore, with the exceptional play of 20-point scorers Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker, the Celtics find themselves positioned incredibly well to make a run in the playoffs.
Similarly, the Thunder are being led by a mix of young players and veterans, most notably Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The team is positioned as the sixth seed in the Western Conference, despite the widespread belief that they would be towards the bottom of the conference this season.
