The new-look Celtics have been enjoying life without Kyrie Irving . They are 17-6 on the year and a perfect 11-0 at home. Boston will be looking to keep their undefeated home record alive tonight while also seeking revenge for their opening day loss to the 76ers back in October.
The 18-7 Sixers are also unbeaten at home this season, but they have struggled on the road. Joel Embiied is averaging a 20 points and 12 rebounds thus far during Philly's campaign and has emerged as the leader of the team. Fellow big man Al Horford will be making his return to Boston tonight after signing with the 76ers this past summer, so it will be interesting to see how The Garden welcomes him back.
These two Eastern Conference teams have played quite a few meaningful games against one another over the last few years. This should be another memorable matchup.
