CC Sabathia's NSFW Take on Astros and Red Sox Scandals is Exactly What We Wanted

There is a multitude of players across MLB, both past and present, who have come out to voice their indignation toward the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros in light of their their respective sign-stealing scandals. It's possible that CC Sabathia is ultimately leading that charge, and though he has already gotten his money's worth, cutting himself short is simply not how the former Cy Young winner rolls. The recently-retired southpaw uncorked another hot-blooded diatribe on a recent episode of his R2C2 podcast with YES and ESPN commentator Ryan Ruocco, and he stuck the landing.

Folks, don't even bother trying to count the number of profanities that CC unleashed in this three-minute rant. We tried, and it's impossible.

But, that's the thing -- Sabathia has every right to be as incensed as he is. When you look back at how the 2017 ALCS unfolded, the Yankees are justified (and then some) to feel cheated given how close they came to knocking off the Astros only to fall short in seven games. Right on cue, they were eliminated by to the eventual World Series champion Red Sox in the ALDS the very next year.

Do the math.

This week's bombshell punishments in Houston and Boston have coaxed CC to bring the fire, and we are absolutely here for it. His stance surely captures the feelings of a serious number of baseball heads outside of H-Town and New England at this moment, and the anger won't be dying down soon given that the MLB's investigations haven't fully concluded yet.

Let it all out, CC!
