The Cavaliers are having an abysmal year. Kevin Love is completely discontent with his situation in Cleveland and the team is 14th in the Eastern Conference with a 13-34 record. Not even the high draft picks of Colin Sexton and Darius Garland are enough to boost this team's record.
Both have great numbers and need to perform if the Cavs want to win, but the supporting cast just doesn't supply enough firepower.

The Pelicans, meanwhile, have some hope. Although they're 12th in the Western Conference with an 18-29 record, they have young talent that's enough to propel them in the future.
Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson have been hot lately (granted, Williamson has only played three games), and if Brandon Ingram can find his way out of his recent five-game slump, New Orleans should win handily.
