Cavaliers Could Reportedly Be Third Team in Thunder-Heat Russell Westbrook Trade
By Jared Kish

Russell Westbrook has been increasingly linked with the Miami Heat this offseason now the Oklahoma City Thunder have made it clear that they're cleaning house. At this point, it could be a matter of when (and how), not if.
As the Heat and Thunder continue to discuss a potential deal for Westbrook, a third team has emerged as a possible partner in getting a trade done: the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It's important to note that the Heat are beyond simply speculating about Westbrook's availability; they're serious. The Cavaliers joining the mix would make things all the more interesting, as it gives OKC and Miami more options in terms of getting salaries balanced out.
The Cavs are surely open to dumping JR Smith's contract. The most intriguing piece of the puzzle, however, could be the fate of Kevin Love, who can't possibly be interested in sticking around for a rebuild.
Of course, not everyone is convinced this report is legit.
There have been no such conversations involving the Cavs. https://t.co/9XkZyBQGkl

Though the Heat are the best option and seem to be the No. 1 contender for Westbrook, a third team could be required to make everything work. Keep an eye on The Land as this thing heats up.
