Carson Wentz Sends Classy Tweet to Jalen Hurts Welcoming Him to Philly

The Jordan Love pick was surprising, but the Philadelphia Eagles matched that selection in terms of pure shock value when they took Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts with the 53rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Rather than acting frosty towards his new backup, Carson Wentz welcomed Hurts to Philadelphia, extending an olive branch to his new teammate.

Wentz is locked in as the starter until 2024 under his new contract, but it appears that the Eagles are a bit spooked when it comes to his durability, as he has missed parts of the last three seasons due to injury.
