United States Women's National Team star Carli Lloyd might have her post-soccer career figured out, as she was reportedly presented an opportunity to become the first female to appear in an NFL game.

The 37-year-old midfielder, who has netted 114 times in 282 games for her country, made waves when she nailed a 55-yard field goal at Philadelphia Eagles practice. That viral video has apparently generated some serious buzz around Lloyd, who, according to her trainer, has an offer to kick for a team in a preseason game.

If she pulls this off, she would be the first woman to play in an NFL game, which would be a major gender barrier she could break down.

Lloyd has apparently rejected the offer, however, as she will be playing in a game for the USWNT on Thursday.

As impressive as Lloyd's feat would be, she wouldn't be the first former United States soccer player to get some NFL experience. Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo was a former goalie for the US U-23 National Team and MLS side FC Dallas.

While Lloyd won't be accepting the challenge of kicking in the NFL, the fact that teams showed genuine interest in her following her display with the Eagles is incredibly impressive.
