Taking the hill for San Francisco is right-hander Logan Webb. Since being reinstated from a PED suspension, Webb fast-tracked through the minors and has quickly earned his spot in the Giants' rotation. In three starts, Webb is 1-0 with a 3.52 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 15.1 innings.
Cardinals Lineup
The Cards are looking to earn the series win with a Thursday afternoon victory. Paul Goldschmidt drove in four runs in the loss on Wednesday, going 2-for-4 at the plate. Paul DeJong went bridge in the outing, his 25th of the year. Goldy will be in the three-hole, with DeJong hitting fifth.
