Cardinals sign Kyler Murray to massive extension

The drama won't bleed into the regular season for the Arizona Cardinals. One of the big topics of conversation out of Arizona recently has been the contract talks with Kyler Murray. The dual-threat QB wasn't happy with how things were going.

That all changed on Thursday. That's because Murray is a very, very rich man, as he has landed the money he was hoping for.

Cardinals are giving Kyler Murray a five-year, $230.5 million deal that includes $160 million guaranteed, per source. It gives Murray the second highest paid QB average at $46.1 million per year. https://t.co/tTnUJXGSm3

That's a huge number for Murray and one plenty of people have been calling for the Cardinals front office to put on the table. Now, Murray can focus on the season and helping AZ win the NFC West.
