Puck drop is shortly after 7:00 p.m. ET from Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The game will be broadcast on NBCSN but you can also find a live stream of the game within the Reddit hockey streams community.

Each team is riding a multi-game losing streak into this contest after stringing together a number of wins following last month's All-Star break. Montreal has dropped five consecutive games while Washington has lost two in a row and five of its last seven.

All eyes tonight, however, will be on Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin. The 34-year-old captain needs to score just twice to become the eighth player in league history to net 700 career goals. Since notching a hat trick against the Kings on Feb. 4, Ovechkin hasn't recorded a goal or assist in his last five appearances.

Playing at home with newly-acquired defender Brenden Dillon and a healthy Evgeny Kuznetsov in the lineup, Washington is looking to snap out of its skid and get back into the Metropolitan Division's driver's seat. Montreal, however, is desperate for a statement win to help catapult them back into the postseason conversation.
