3 Free Agents the Bulls Should Target This Offseason

Sometimes you end up taking one step back before you take two steps forward. That definitely applies to the 2019-2020 Chicago Bulls, who were a disappointing 22-43 before the season was put on hold. Big man Lauri Markkanen struggled to find his shot all season, and none of the players and coaches seemed to be on the same page, despite the continued emergence of Zach LaVine.

With new management at the helm this offseason, the Bulls should target these three players if they want to get back on track.

3. Jordan Clarkson

Jordan Clarkson has been dynamic off the bench for the Utah Jazz since he was traded there midseason by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He put up 15.6 points-per-game off the bench for the Jazz in 34 appearances this season. Clarkson will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and would fit nicely behind LaVine on the Bulls bench.

2. Joe Harris

The Brooklyn Nets are overflowing with talent, and Joe Harris is likely to be the odd man out of the starting lineup when Kevin Durant returns. Harris is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and is the sharpshooter the Bulls desperately need. The Bulls were No. 24 in the NBA in three-point percentage last season, and Harris' career 42.3% from deep would be huge for Chicago.

1. Anthony Davis

Is it a pipe dream? Absolutely. But, if there is any chance that the Bulls could bring Anthony Davis home to Chicago they need to move mountains to make it happen. Davis is a generational talent, and has dropped hints that he wants to play in his home city of Chicago at some point in his career. Davis has a player option for 2020, and if he declines it the Bulls should be calling his agent immediately.
