One of the best perimeter shooters in the NBA could become available on the trade market in the 2020 offseason.

Buddy Hield recently signed a four-year, $94 million extension with the Sacramento Kings prior to the start of the 2019-20 season. However, with the Kings once again struggling in the West, and the team lacking direction, it appears Hield no longer has the patience to stick around. Hield is reportedly mulling the idea of requesting a trade this offseason.

It would be yet another loss of talent for a Kings team that hasn't made the playoffs since 2006, and is stuff in an organizational funk. The team's other premier sharpshooter, Bogdan Bogdanovic, has also been the subject of trade speculation throughout this season. Should Hield actually demand a trade from the team, it could trigger a roster overhaul from general manager Vlade Divac.

With the trade deadline already passed, Hield will remain in Sacramento for at least the immediate future. However, these next couple months could end up being a showcase for another team to chase his talents.
