Bucs defense gets even stronger by signing Akiem Hicks

Just when you thought things couldn't get better for Tampa Bay and Tom Brady, they've gone out and improved the defense with a huge addition. On Tuesday, news broke that the Bears had agreed to a one-year deal with Akiem Hicks.
Hicks, a former star for the Chicago Bears, is quite the force in the trenches. Come early September, he'll be ready to make some key plays for the Bucs.
Former Bears’ DL Akiem Hicks reached agreement today on a one-year deal worth up to $10 million with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per source. Deal negotiated by Bucs’ exec Mike Greenberg and agents @DrewJRosenhaus and @RyanMatha.

Hicks really is a playmaker and he's known to put pressure on quarterbacks. This is bad news for NFC South quarterbacks, other than Brady of course. What a move for Tampa Bay.
