Browns Sign Former Ohio University Running Back AJ Ouellette
By Michael Luciano

Remember that guy who would run for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns on every pre-Christmas bowl game over the last few years? He just got an NFL contract.
The Cleveland Browns agreed to terms with Ohio University running back AJ Ouellette, who starred under head coach Frank Solich for the Bobcats.

Ouellette spent five years in Athens, Ohio, missing one with a foot injury and starting during the other four. He piled up 3,829 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns during his extremely productive college career.
The Covington, Ohio native ran for a career best 1,306 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. He was originally picked up by the New Orleans Saints, but was released shortly after rookie camp ended.

He may not be very fast for a running back, but the local cult hero is a powerful runner that can break tackles, block well, and grind out tough yards. That's more than a worthwhile skillset and pedigree for the Browns to roll the dice on.
