Browns Reportedly Looking to Trade for OL Help to Protect Baker Mayfield
By Michael Luciano

There are many factors that have contributed to a disappointing 1-2 start for the Cleveland Browns, but the biggest non-Freddie Kitchens issue has been a patchwork offensive line that is rarely giving Baker Mayfield the time to work through his progressions.
According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Cleveland GM John Dorsey has considered swinging a trade to get Mayfield some extra protection up front.

Outside of left guard Joel Bitonio, who has been decent, this is one of the worst lines in the league. Former No. 2 overall pick Greg Robinson was a major bust, and is continuing to show that he's not a starting right tackle. Center JC Tretter has underwhelmed, while 2018 second-round pick Austin Corbett can barely get on the field. Right tackle Chris Hubbard offers less resistance than a turnstile. The loss of Kevin Zeitler is looming large.
If the Browns wanted to go big-game hunting, Washington Redskins tackle Trent Williams could still be had for a relatively cheap price.
Mayfield needs to be kept clean in the pocket for this Browns offense to stand a chance, and starting two lampposts at either tackle spot is not going to help this team get to the playoffs.
