The Cleveland Browns went into this offseason knowing that they needed to find new protection for quarterback Baker Mayfield, and they decided to use their No. 10 overall pick on a right tackle to keep him upright.

The Tide used the No. 10 overall pick on Alabama right tackle Jedrick Wills, who is an instant upgrade over right tackle Chris Hubbard.

Wills was the blindside protector for Tua Tagovailoa at Alabama by virtue of playing at right tackle for a lefty quarterback. Wills allowed just one sack in his entire college career at Alabama.

Wills is a bit raw as a run blocker, but that shouldn't prevent him from earning a starting spot in his first year.

Wills is a mobile tackle who is as nasty as a run blocker as he is nimble in pass protection. No one is happier about this pick than Mayfield, who will finally get to sit back in the pocket and chuck some bombs downfield in the pocket.
