The Browns Just Pulled a Classic Browns Move After Details Emerge on Karl Joseph's Signing
By Michael Luciano

The Cleveland Browns needed to find an aggressive, physical safety that could help out Joe Woods' defense without breaking the bank, and they did just that when they lured former Raiders first-round pick Karl Joseph to northeast Ohio.
Unfortunately, the Kevin Stefanski era hasn't totally brought an end to that trademark Browns incompetence we all know and love. The Browns agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with Joseph before checking out if his surgically repaired foot was in good condition.
New #Browns safety Karl Joseph revealed on conference call he has yet to take his physical but his agent and the team were able to work something out and finalize contract. He had foot surgery back in November but said he's on the right track and everything is feeling good.

Joseph's injury woes are one of the biggest marks against him as an NFL player, as he has never played in 16 games and has started in just 17 games over the last two seasons.
The Browns will need to bank on Joseph to stabilize their secondary, but he can't do that on one leg. What was Cleveland thinking?
It's official: #Browns sign Karl Joseph, add depth at safety.

For what it's worth Joseph has been an absolute monster with the Browns since adding him to the Madden roster. ? https://t.co/PsxXX28xum
Even when the Browns have a decent shot at the playoffs and are in Year 1 of a new regime, classic Cleveland incompetence always seem to reign supreme. Let's just hope Joseph's foot is all right and the Browns don't look like fools for the premature announcement.
