By Karl Rasmussen

The Cleveland Browns will once again be short-handed on defense for their Monday night clash against the San Francisco 49ers.
According to Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns' top two cornerbacks, Greedy Williams and Denzel Ward, are expected to be sidelined for the contest due to injury.

Both are dealing with hamstring ailments, which will prevent them from taking the field. This a big blow to the Browns' defense, already without key linebacker Christian Kirksey.
Ward hasn't played since Week 2 due to his hamstring injury. On the year he has seven tackles and one quarterback hit. Williams has also been out since Week 2. The rookie has logged five total tackles on the season.

With the two defensive backs still on the mend, TJ Carrie and Terrance Mitchell will once again be called upon to start.
Since stepping into the starting role, Carrie has logged one interception and recorded 13 tackles, while Mitchell has a pick to go along with eight tackles.
They'll look to help contain Jimmy Garoppolo and the undefeated 49ers in primetime.
