Last week, the Cleveland Browns made yet another impressive signing in free agency when they inked safety Andrew Sendejo, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles, to a one-year, $2.25 million contract.

In Sendejo, a 10-year NFL veteran, the Browns will be getting a bruising defender who is still elite at flying in from safety to crush ball carriers.

To get Browns fans even more hyped for the team's newest addition, let's take a look at three highlights from Sendejo that speak to what he will bring to Cleveland.

3. Blocks 49ers Field Goal, 2015

Sendejo's value extends to special teams, where he is a force to be reckoned with on all kicking situations. In 2015, the Vikings star bamboozled the 49ers offensive line and swatted Phil Dawson's field goal attempt on the opening drive of Monday Night Football. Who doesn't love a turnover on special teams?

2. Monster Hit On Ravens WR Mike Wallace, 2017

It's worth noting that Sendejo was suspended for this hit, but he wasn't entirely at fault here. Like so many defensive backs, the Rice product fell victim to the speed of the game and was forced to halt his momentum before laying down a monster hit on Ravens wideout Mike Wallace, which forced a fumble. Sendejo's willingness to lay down the hammer will sit perfectly with Browns supporters.

1. Blasting Bears WR Markus Wheaton on Crossing Route, 2017

Bears fans may want to look away at this one. With Chicago and Minnesota locked in defensive battle in the first half of a 2017 affair, Sendejo was just waiting for Wheaton to enter his vicinity. The hard-hitting safety delivered one of the cleanest and hardest hits of his career on this play. The slow motion replay is truly a thing of beauty, and Wheaton was understandably shaken up after the thunderous blow. Get pumped, Browns fans! More highlights like this are heading your way in 2020.
