Things have been less than ideal for the Broncos from the outset of the 2019 season. They've suffered a handful of brutal losses and are now 0-3 on the year.

And as disappointing as the uninspired start has been for the fans, it's been even worse for the players. After falling to the Packers 27-16, Emmanuel Sanders perfectly summed up the year by saying "Times are rough around here," adding that they're "living in a world of suck.”

Well, there's no more succinct way to describe it than that. In every game, they've had a chance to pull out the win, but all they've managed to do is choke away opportunity after opportunity.

In Week 2, for example, they actually took the lead at home against thanks to Sanders himself after he hauled in a touchdown and two-point conversion to take the lead with 31 seconds remaining. But the Bears nailed a walk-off, 53-yard field goal to take home a 16-14 win.

It really has been a world of suck. Nothing has gone their way despite their best efforts. Sanders has done everything in his power to help this team out, yet they still haven't managed to bring home a win.

The road doesn't get much easier, either. Denver has to host Gardner Minshew and the Jaguars in Week 4 before heading to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers.

2019 isn't their year, and Sanders isn't afraid to admit it.
