The Dallas Cowboys had as good a first half as any team could have asked for on Sunday night against the Philadelphia Eagles. With a 24-7 lead, how could it get any better? How about with some history? With time expiring in the first half, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett sent out kicker Brett Maher on a 63-yard field goal, which would be the longest in team history. Maher delivered, extending Dallas' lead to 27-7.

In case you were wondering who Maher passed for the record, the answer is...himself. Maher previously made a 62-yarder, which occurred last season against (ironically) the Eagles.

Maher is making a name for himself in Dallas Cowboys lore.
