BREAKING: 4-Star DT Commits to LSU Over Alabama, Oklahoma and Others

In case you haven't been paying attention, Ed Orgeron and the LSU Tigers are putting together quite the 2020 recruiting class in Baton Rouge.

And on Wednesday, the morning kicked off with a bang, as 4-star defensive tackle Jalen Lee announced his commitment to the Tigers live on ESPN.

This is a monster get for Coach O and his staff. Lee is ranked as the No. 33 DT in the country per 247Sports, and the No. 13 overall player out of Louisiana.

Throughout his recruitment process, the 6-3, 285-pounder racked up nearly 20 offers. His tenders list includes LSU, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida and many others.

With the addition of Lee, LSU now holds the No. 3-ranked recruiting class in the country for 2020, holding a mind-boggling 20 verbal pledges early on. With National Signing Day still months away, the Tigers have certainly been on fire this spring in the recruiting department.

The class is currently made up of two 5-star recruits, 13 4-star players and five 3-star products. And it stands to grow even more.
