Brazil qualifies for World Cup after win against Colombia

There was never a doubt this was going to happen, but Brazil is officially headed to Qatar in 2022. The South American giants punched their tickets on Thursday night following a 1-0 win over Colombia.
Lucas Paqueta scored the game-winning goal for Brazil in the 72nd minute. Now, Brazil holds 34 points in CONMEBOL qualifiers, indeed locking in their spot.

Brazil is yet to lose in qualifying, which is unreal to think about. Both Brazil and Argentina are basically locked in for berths, while Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay and Chile are battling it out for the final two spots. Remember too that the fifth-place team could also qualify for Qatar through a playoff.
