Braves Twitter is Not Happy About Brian McCann Bobblehead Night Getting Postponed

We understand that attending a baseball game that includes a bobblehead night which pays tribute to a current or former star player is an awesome experience, but we had no clue that fans took it THIS seriously.

The Atlanta Braves had a Brian McCann bobblehead giveaway set for April 6, the team's fourth home game of the new campaign. As of this week, there was no announcement about a potential rescheduling, but it seems things have suddenly changed.

The Braves, without an official announcement, appear to have removed the promotional event from the calendar, leaving quite a few unhappy Braves fans to air their complaints on social media.

The Braves didn't provide an announcement for the McCann promotion being postponed, but simply removed it from the calendar. Fans who had purchased the April 6 tickets in hopes of walking away with the unique memorabilia are rightfully disappointed at the lack of clarity.

Oh my. We knew McCann was a fan favorite in Atlanta, but we'd by lying if we said we thought there would be this much outrage on Twitter after the postponement of his big night.

Well, according to some rumors, the bobblehead event is being delayed due to complications with the product's shipment out of China amid the coronavirus outbreak.

It looks as if the event will indeed be taking place, though it remains unclear when the Braves will reschedule the promotion.
