The Atlanta Braves did an amazing job acquiring young talent throughout the latter half of the past decade. The team has also made several free agent additions to become a contender in the National League once again.

MLB Pipeline recently conducted a series of polls with MLB front office members to gauge feelings and projections on prospects who may be the next big thing for their respective organizations. The Braves ended up having two individuals receive a lot of support.

One question asked: "Who is the most underrated prospect?" That honor went to Drew Waters, a 21-year-old outfielder in the Braves system. He made it all the way up to Triple-A in 2019 and slashed .309/.360/.459 for the year between Double-A and Triple-A.

Waters is the No. 2 prospect for the Braves, one spot behind Cristian Pache. The latter also showed up in the Insider poll as the best defensive prospect in baseball.

Like Waters, Pache also got a late call-up to Triple-A in 2019. He signed as an international free agent in 2017 and has quickly risen his way up through the system.

Both are among baseball's most intriguing prospects and could fight their way into the majors as early as the 2020 campaign.
