The Atlanta Braves are a team already stocked with young talent. There's even more waiting in the wings and the organization was looking to promote some top prospects in 2020, especially since the minor league season is canceled and the big league rosters are set to expand.

That means the Braves will likely give some top prospects a chance to shine. The Rookie of the Year races will be wide open and three top prospects in Atlanta all have a shot to win the award (assuming some of them get the call).

3. Kyle Wright

Kyle Wright is the fourth-ranked prospect in the organization and has gotten limited action in the majors the last two seasons. He struggled mightily in seven games last year, but is still only 24 years old. The 6-4 right-hander had 116 strikeouts in Triple-A last year and could earn some playing time this year in the unique format. A few good outings could make him the fifth starter and help him fight for Rookie of the Year honors.

2. Ian Anderson

Anderson finished 2019 in Triple-A and should get some playing time in 2020, which would likely put him head-to-head with Wright. The 2016 No. 3 overall pick stands at 6-foot-3 and has a career 10.7 K/9 in the minors. His combined 3.19 ERA and durability (he's made 24 and 26 starts the last two years) prove he's ready for MLB action. Yes, he had a rough go in Triple-A, recording a 6.57 ERA in five outings, but two bad starts (3.1 innings, five earned runs and 3 innings, five earned runs) really exaggerated this sample size. He has a few kinks to work out, but he's not far away whatsoever.

1. Christian Pache

Pache is the top prospect in the Braves' system and is part of the future plans in Atlanta. The centerfielder should be able to steal playing time away from Ender Inciarte this season. Pache is known for his great defense and has also slashed .283/.331/.404 with 207 runs scored and 58 stolen bases during his time in the minors (428 games). He's only 21 years old and could become the next Juan Soto-esque player to become a star in the National League.
