The Toronto Blue Jays may have found themselves a future ace in Nate Pearson. On Sunday, the Blue Jays top ranked prospect had Pirates All-Star Josh Bell all crossed up with a nasty fastball up and in, forcing a swing out of Bell that we're sure he wishes he could have back.

Bell had absolutely no chance at hitting that buzzsaw heater and he was clearly fooled by the gas on Pearson's pitch.

The 23-year-old right-hander finished the 2019 season at Triple-A and is projected to make the leap to the pros in 2020. Across three minor-league levels last year, Pearson logged a sterling 2.30 ERA with 119 strikeouts over 101.2 innings of work.
