Despite being one of the most explosive and exciting NBA players in the league, Blake Griffin has proven to be rather injury-prone during his lengthy career. Just this past offseason, he underwent surgery for a knee injury that's kept him out of action thus far into the 2019-20 campaign.

After missing the first 10 games of the season, the Detroit Pistons forward has officially been cleared to resume all basketball activities and is expected to make his season debut this Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

Last season, Griffin averaged 24.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game for a Pistons team that snuck into the playoffs as an eight seed with a 41-41 record.

This year, the Pistons have been trying to stay afloat at 4-6, although they've been suffering from a plethora of injuries, aside from Griffin's, with players such as Reggie Jackson and Derrick Rose both missing time.

With Griffin back, the Pistons' offense should see an increase in productivity, and Andre Drummond will get some much needed help on the defensive side of the ball in the frontcourt.

It'll be good to see Griffin back on the court, especially after footage was released this past summer of him shooting 3-pointers at an unbelievable speed. After hitting a career-high 2.5 3-pointer's per game last season, Griffin will mesh seamlessly in with a Pistons team currently knocking down 39.6% of their 3's, good for third best in the league.
