The transition from an NFL front office role to a television personality gig isn't as seamless as it might appear on paper. Just ask former Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts general manager Bill Polian, who has offered nothing but nonsensical Draft takes since becoming an analyst for ESPN. For those who aren't aware of his antics, take a good, hard look at his greatest hits compilation that features his woeful misses on Johnny Manziel, Lamar Jackson and Tyrann Mathieu.

We're not sure which take is more egregious: vouching for a character disaster in Manziel, claiming that Jackson, the reigning MVP, should be converted to a wide receiver, or asserting that Mathieu should have gone undrafted back in 2013.

Good grief. Is that some hot garbage or what? Keep in mind that Polian was once voted as Executive of the Year! We get that everybody miscalculates on prospects from time to time, but the 77-year-old's knack for swinging and missing suggests that he might actually know nothing at this juncture.

We wholly respect Polian's resume, but teams around the league should be thanking their lucky stars that the Hall of Famer is no longer pulling the strings as an executive.
