Funniest Cowboys vs Redskins Memes Ahead of Week 2 Showdown
By Sean Facey

It's a Week 2 showdown of two of the most bitter rivals in the NFL! The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins are about to square off on Sunday afternoon, and things (as always) are plenty rowdy between the two fanbases. There has been plenty of quality banter already, so this is the perfect time to take a look at some of the funniest memes making the rounds on social media ahead of the game.
With a plethora of star players out for the game, it seems as though some Redskins fans are already letting the booze flow freely as the Cowboys come to town. Talk about low expectations.
It’s September 12th. Redskins are missing Guice, Reed, Allen, Nicholson, Dunbar & Brantley. Our best player is in Houston. Reuben Foster has been long gone. And we’re going to play a road game in Landover to not fall to 0-2 overall and in the division. pic.twitter.com/p92fm2RSzd

In fact, the sheer number of injuries is so staggering that some Redskins fans have actually started to laugh about how their medical staff has conducted itself.

Cowboys fans are plenty more excited about the game, though, and it's hard to blame them after their dominant 35-17 drubbing of the New York Giants in the season opener.

But we shouldn't forget that their star quarterback, who posted a perfect passer rating against the Giants, was himself not a fan of franchise favorite Tony Romo.

Here's to hoping that the on-field contest can live up to the hilarity of the folks on Twitter gearing up to watch it.
