VIDEO: Ben Zobrist Whiffs Yadier Molina in Incredible End to Cubs Season

The 2019 season may not have wrapped up the way Cubs fans had been hoping it would; as an era of high expectations potentially clatters down around them, the team will not make the playoffs. But, by golly, there are still PLENTY of reasons to be thankful and celebrate your guys. For instance, Ben Zobrist made the entire city of Chicago proud by entering on the mound and getting Yadier Molina, of all people, to chase...the yakker!

You're right, Yadi! St. Louis isn't boring. After all, it's the only place on earth you can see a position player strike out a future Hall of Famer! Oh, that's not what you meant?

Though the party got started for St. Louis only a few minutes later, perhaps Cubs fans can take solace in the fact that it appears to have been...very blurry.

Something tells me Chicagoans will tuck this Yadi image into their front pockets with a long winter approaching.
