On Tuesday night, the Kansas City Chiefs received the unwelcome news that veteran cornerback Bashaud Breeland had been arrested on a laundry list of charges. Now, the official police report from the incident has been released to the public, and it's downright alarming.

Per the report, there was a point during the arrest that Breeland shoved a police officer. After this happened and Breeland managed to get back inside his car, the arresting office drew his gun on the Chiefs defensive back.

Just a few months removed from winning the Super Bowl, the Chiefs are already facing concerning issues with their players off the field. In Breeland's case, the police report paints a dark and frightening picture.

For him to shove an officer and then have a gun drawn on him is something that's tough to put into words. Breeland has passionately defended his actions, taking to Twitter to state he was not in the wrong, and that the police abused their authority on him.

He has since deleted his tweets, but said, "Lot of people wanna speculate On my situation and don’t know the facts I really was at a gas pump got approach by two guys police pulled up they throw something my car as police pulled up which the cop saw and I was the one detained wit charges that really shouldn’t be charged."

Breeland had just signed a new one-year deal with the team, but this latest update could jeopardize his standing with the champs. We'll have to wait and see what the KC front office decides to do with the 28-year-old CB.
