Messi will still be unable to suit up for the Blaugrana, and Valverde might find himself bereft of goal-scoring options. Antoine Griezmann will make his home debut for Barca, but Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez are likely out for this matchup with respective hamstring and calf injuries.
Former Betis left back Junior Firpo will also make his debut for Barca against his old side.

Betis have more than enough options in attack to slot one past Marc-Andre ter Stegen. With club-record signing Borja Iglesias as a striker, former Barca winger Christian Tello, and a star in Nabil Fekir that almost make a big money move to either Liverpool or Chelsea last year, this is not a team willing to concede either possession or the scoreline.
